1st July: A very special guest at Bewley’s

After a busy few days in the recording studio, I’m starting to prepare for my third show at the Bewley’s Café Theatre in Dublin on Friday 1st July at 8pm. I’m particularly honoured to announce that this show’s guest musician will be Ireland’s premier jazz & traditional flautist, Brian Dunning.

A graduate of the Berklee College of Music in Boston and a well-established international performer, Brian’s music is as versatile as it is virtuoso. Throughout the 80s and 90s, he was a leading member of the band Nightnoise whose original blend of Celtic, jazz and classical chamber music inspired a generation of Irish musicians.

In more recent times, Brian was featured on the Gangs of New York soundtrack, and his band Puck Fair, originally formed in New York in 1987, have re-formed in Dublin, continuing a fusion of jazz and traditional Irish music. Check out Brian Dunning’s Puck Fair Live in Japan in the videos below and be sure to connect with Puck Fair via Facebook here!

Hope to see you at the Bewley’s Café Theatre in Dublin on Friday 1st July (8pm) for show number three! As seats are limited at Bewley’s, advance booking is recommended. You can reserve seats by emailing: bewleysbookings@gmail.com

Best wishes,

Luke
